Christophe M. Tant is the Head of Training for SPAcademy By Raffles International – School of Spa & Wellness. Christophe has considerable teaching and consultation experience in the spa industry.
Previously a spa trainer and consultant with his private
practice, Christophe has conducted in-house training
for private spas, designed and implemented professional
codes of ethics, postural analysis workshops and administered
self-care courses to spa technicians and massage therapists.
Christophe has also been an Associate Trainer to SPAcademy;
where he developed curriculums, oversaw training in
the fields of sports and orthopaedic massage, holistic
therapy, reflexology, and anatomy and physiology knowledge.
A licensed Massage Therapist since 1998 and a certified
Reflexologist since 1997, Christophe possesses extensive
experience in various spa services; including the various
schools of massage technique, reflexology, acupressure,
Eastern breathing exercises and much more. He draws
upon this expertise to perfect his role as a spa &
wellness educator and consultant.
Among his many qualifications, Christophe holds massage
therapy training certification from the Potomac Massage
Training Institute in Washington, DC (USA) as well as
reflexology certification from the Institute for Integrated
Therapies in Washington, DC (USA). Prior to that, he
graduated from the University of the District of Columbia
(USA) with a BA in education, Summa Cum Laude.
Christophe has been a student of Qi Gong since 2002
and has learnt the art from various masters in the field.
Now an adept himself, he has taught basic Qi Gong practices
to his clients and to spa therapists. |
